Coach Frank Giraldo
Frank Giraldo played D1 in the late 1980s. Frank played one season of semi-pro ball in New Jersey before graduating from Princeton University and then attending graduate school at the University of Virginia. Frank continued to play soccer in men's leagues while beginning his coaching career as an assistant coach for the Seaside Girls Varsity Soccer team (1999-2002). Frank later served as an assistant coach for various Monterey County Futbol Club (MCFC) teams including a U10 girls team (2012), and U11 and U12 boys teams (2013-2014). Eventually, Frank and his wife, Jeanne, formed the MCFC U13 and U14 girls teams in 2015. Frank currently also coaches the Pacific Grove High School Girls Varsity Soccer team (2017-Present).
Coach Jeanne Kinney Giraldo
Jeanne Kinney Giraldo played D1 in the late 1980s at Princeton University and then attended graduate school at Harvard University. Prior to that she was the Captain of her High School team that won the New York State Championship in 1985. Jeanne continued to play soccer in co-ed leagues and began her coaching career as an assistant coach for the Seaside Girls Varsity Soccer team (1999-2002). Jeanne and her husband, Frank, formed the MCFC U13 and U14 girls teams in 2015. Jeanne is also a volunteer coach for the Pacific Grove High School Girls Varsity team (2017-Present).
